please don't say "Don't drink!" that is pretty much the lamest answer ever!!
just for the record I do not drink often and have only been drunk like 5 times in my life and have only been hungover once (and I was drinking vodka btw for the guy who suggested that). I have just heard some crazy hangover remedies and was curious as to what kind of answers I got. |

It's also the most obvious answer. If you don't want a hangover, don't drink or learn your limits. Only have a drink an hour, or pay attention when your body tells you to stop.
Melissa...you NEVER mix medication and alcohol. Aspirin thins the blood and so does alcohol, that's an easy way to land yourself in the hospital or the morgue. |

drink vodka... unless you drink it in insane amounts you usually wake up feeling fine or maybe a little light headed (at least thats how it works with me)

drink water. and a small meal before.
hang overs are cause by dehydration. so every other drink, have a glass of water. and keep a glass by your bed. |

Heh, you read my mind. I guess since I can't say what I was originally going to say, I'll answer: Drink lightly.
But if you want to cure a hangover, I have heard bananas help... |

Well, you took out the best way.
The second-best way is to eat, and drink plenty of water, while drinking alcohol. And, of course, don't drink LOTS of booze. The food cushions the effects, and the water helps cut own dehydration (a lot of the effects of a hangover are from the dehydration that alcohol causes). |

Eat before you start drinking.
Try to avoid mixing different types of alcohol during the same night. i.e. wine, alcohol and beer in the same night. Pace yourself. And I usually stick with Vodka based drinks and have never had a problem the next morning. This is just my opinion though and what has worked for me. Hope it helps. |
