given the fact that she'll be getting a multitude of beer/wine/alcohol related gifts, maybe a small stainless steel rack from bed bath n beyond or a store like that.

should be pretty inexpensive and'll look nice on a countertop.

I definitely think that a good time and a good experience is one of the best gifts you can give. What kinds of activities does she enjoy? Remember, just because she's turning 21 does not mean that it has to involve alcohol, or revolve around it. For my 21st birthday (last year), my sisters took me out to a club, and we danced all night. It was a blast! So just take into consideration what she likes to do, and go from there.

Have fun, stay safe, and happy 21st to your friend!

How about a gift card to his/her favorite store. Better yet at a grocery store if they live on their own. At some point or another you're going to need something to eat to soak up the alcohol

A giant fortune cookie. An ice cream cake. Name a star after her. A picture of her when she was a baby, in a nice frame. Electronica or an accessory for her cell phone. One of those newspapers that were published on the day she was born.

Why are you asking this question in "Beer, Wine & Spirits" if you wish to exclude them from the answers?

How about some Reidel stemware or a good quality corkscrew?

I just gave a good friend a box of gourmet cookies that someone else on here recommended. They come from Bizzy Lizzy Bakery and I called the number on the website and told them it was a gift and they sent it out in a beautiful package and enclosed a card from me. My friend was beyond thrilled with the gift. Just a thought.

i purchased a cooking set for my friends 21st, since she was moving into her own apartment. so it doesn't always have to be about alcohol.

Well - since you do not want answers pertaining to beer or wine - then why post it under "beer wine & spirits" LOL - maybe you'll find the answer you're looking for in the "friends" forum instead honey.....
