I was wondering if Vegetarians would still eat like chicken flavoured rice & chicken noodles and stuff that doesn't have real meat in it but it has like the flavouring of it?

some do, some don't.
If its not made of any animal slaughter by-products, sure, why not. Its been 28 years since i ate meat, so i wouldn't think "oh great, this tastes like chicken" i would just likely think "this is a nice taste". But personally, i dont buy or eat the stuff labelled as meat or chicken flavour, including things like crisps. its not a taste i want, its not a taste i remember, why would i seek it out ? I get all the taste and flavour i want from foods that are unashamedly vegetarian. With access to the western food basket why would i ever choose to eat processed noodles ? |

Yes, they will eat the things that has the flavor of the real meat. As long as it is not cooked with meat to give it the flavor. There are actually restaurants that make things taste the same as shrimp and lobster etc. They use only flavors not anything that has to do with meat um yea otherwise they will get sued like MacDonald for using animal fat. They got sued by vegetarians and they actually lost.

It depends on the person's taste. If it doesn't contain meat, there's no reason not to, except that synthetic flavouring isn't at all healthy. Vegetarians are often quite health conscious, so it might put some of us off!

I think it is okay because you are eating carbohydrates (chicken flavoured noodles and chicken flavoured rice).
If you are a vegetarian or is planning to be one, just don't eat any meat like fish, beef, chicken, pork, etc. And if you really want to diminish all 'slaughter house' by-products, might as well not eat eggs, cheese and drink milk too. Note: I am a veggie. Don't eat any meat, cheese, and eggs. |

If you are a non-veg turned veg, then you can go for such items to satisfy you psychologically otherwise why should a born veg like me, eat such junk. The thought of eating fish, meat etc is repelling & revulsive, what to talk of smell.

I don't because although it is not real meat;most of thr flavouring r made of some sort of meat part.Often it will be the oil of the meat.Such as chicken oil.

Most don't, but I'm sure some people don't mind. I don't, cause it's still made from animals and I'm not too keen on the taste of chicken chips any way. If your veg and don't like the idea of eating chicken flavoured chips, read the label and check that it's artificial flavor not natural chicken flavour.

Sure, but rarely. Every once in a while I'll eat a chik patty from boca on a bun... but it is not my first choice because it is still not that healthy a choice to put in your body.
